A forest of blessings

A green forest has always fascinated me, especially when you see places that’s dark and places where the sunlight falls on the leaves... It reminds me of life. Some days, can be dark or difficult, but then when we go into the light, (with Gods light shining into our lives), we manage to see the true beauty. We learn to appreciate the darker days because it makes the light shine so much brighter. Also, the sun moves and as the shadows move we see places that only seemed dark, but now have much more detail, and can surprise you with its beauty.

Trying to portray Gods creation in such a way also makes me feel closer to God. But I am also very aware of the fact that green speaks of calm, serene and soothing circumstances which result in an inner calm and to me personally it depicts healing and growth in all areas of life.

Keeping this in mind I hope this painting can be a blessing when looked at.
