This painting of a Woman warrior was painted in a time in my life that I realised that I was fighting an invisible war... The Bible talks about it in Ephesians 6.
There comes a times in our lives when pure evil (not flesh and blood, but the despotism, the powers, the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, and the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere, things that’s not from God, attacks us.

In this painting those things are represented in the form of our enemy and their colour is ash or grey. Interestingly the spiritual war I was fighting at that specific time was a war against deception or influence by false doctrine. Which is exactly what the grey colour depicts because something that is grey, neither black nor white (no boundaries) can point to double mindedness or deception.
This painting is portraying my spiritual fight and therefor I have spiritual weapons to use in this warfare. The sword for example represents Gods Word that is stronger than a two-edged sword and a formidable weapon. And the belt I wear represents the truth, which is a way to fight the enemy who is the father of lies.
Help from above, is symbolised by the form of a warning angel and the sea green colour in the warriors clothes is associated with the Beryl’s precious stone mentioned in the Bible, in this case it symbolises hardness, it means a person that will not break easily, is transparent and will persevere. Thereby reflecting the character of the person.
